Thinking About Staying with us for a week or a month?

We welcome those who have an interest in community life as a Catholic Worker to come and "try it out" with us for a short period of one week to one month. We are a pacifist resistance community that attempts to balance both service to the poor on the streets of Los Angeles, and resistance to war, social service cutbacks, the death penalty, and bloated military budgets that rob from the poor and make the world an unsafe place to live. If you are interested in sharing our communal life you should be open to this. If you are interested in the Los Angeles Catholic Worker, and live in the Los Angeles area, please drop in on any kitchen day or at our Wednesday evening liturgy and introduce yourself. If you do not live locally, we ask that you write a letter or e-mail us, introducing yourself and we will get back to you relatively quickly.
