Thinking About Staying with us for a week or a month?

We welcome those who are considering community life with us to come and "try it out" with us for a short period of a week to a month. We are a pacifist community that attempts to balance both service to the poor on the streets of Los Angeles, and resistance to war, welfare cutbacks, the death penalty, and bloated military budgets that rob from the poor and make the world an unsafe place to live. Those who are interested in sharing our communal life should be open to this. If you are interested in the Los Angeles Catholic Worker, and live locally to us, drop in on any kitchen day or at our Wednesday night liturgy and introduce yourself. If you do not live locally, we ask that you write a letter or email to us, introducing yourself and we’ll get back to you.
