Police Press Conference Action

Filed under: News Items — Clare @ 4:05 pm

On April 7th the LACW joined members of the Los Angeles Community Action Network to protest the announcement of a proposed police injunction barring 80 “Gang Members” and up to 300 John Does from the Skid Row area. This politically motivated outrage, would be another step toward making Skid Row into a police state. We pray for the madness to end and for our city to have compassion on the “least of these”.

Read the LA Times article on the event.
