Congratulations to Jorge and Manuel on their house blessing! Our newest sister house in Hostotipaquillo Mexico was offically opened yesterday after a year of rehab. There was a home mass and 100 guests. Manuel and Jorge plan to start up their various ministries to the community again now that the house is livable.

Jeff was released late last night after two days in Orange County Jail. At his sentencing he plead “Guilty as charged and proud of it!” The befuddled judge gave him time served.

Jeff in jail!

Filed under: News Items — Clare @ 5:20 pm

Jeff was arrested Wednesday morning after an all night sit in at the office of Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-Santa Ana). He and the five other arrestees were asking Rep. Sanchez to sign a statement agreeing to vote against funding the war. Jeff refused to sign a document promising to appear in court and was sent to jail to await his Thursday sentencing. He is dedicating his jail time to the memory of the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and to the memory of the friend and mentor of the LACW Ladon Sheats, on the 5th anniversary of his death.
