Last Saturday the Los Angeles Catholic Worker joined several others at the front gate of Vandenberg Air Force Base. The turnout was excellent, and we were joined by several articulate speakers. Photos of the event can be seen at:

Several members of the Los Angeles Catholic Worker joined the thousands who marched down Broadway to city hall in support of immigrant rights, and oposition to any proposed anti-immigrant legislation. I was able to climb on top of a newspaper vending maching and was able to take a few photos of the massive crowd. The community members were joined this morning by our friend Bob Gomez from Dolores Mission Church and Pius O’Neill who flew in to Los Angeles yesterday and plans to stay with us for at least a month.
